My Journey – From Confusion to Clarity
I arrived in the U.S. at 20 with zero dollars and no English. My family rented for years while I served in the Navy. Even with VA benefits available, I didn’t know how to use them properly. I bought my first home in 2005 as a junior sailor — then got deployed 30 days later.
Later, as a landlord from afar, I made every rookie mistake: bad tenants, terrible property managers, unexpected repairs. I almost lost a property to foreclosure in 2017 while working in cybersecurity for the government. That near-loss forced me to learn — books, podcasts, courses, mentors — the hard way.
Those lessons became my purpose: protect others from the same confusion I faced.
What Drives Me
No one should sign what they don’t understand.

I’ve used VA loans to purchase properties several times. I’ve bought, rented, managed, and sold properties. I’ve been on both sides — borrower and lender, buyer and agent. That experience means I don’t just process loans; I protect your family’s future.
